Most of the ICJ members have moved on with their lives which is commendable. It has been 10 years since ICJ began as a Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) gaming clan back in 1997. You can only expect that we all have grown and changed over the years. Many members were very young when they started and have 'grown up' and graduated from high school and have gone on with their lives. Even though I've been watching ICJ closely over the years even I have been busy elsewhere as well. Now that we have been inactive for over a year I've felt obligated to either archive the ICJ site or step up and work to revitalize our community. In a way I intend on doing both.
Initially I had hoped that Star Wars Galaxies would be the game that ICJ needed to rekindle our ranks. But when SWG was released things did not work as well as anticipated. The game was quite complex probably due to the extensive input from experienced gamers of other MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games). This was in stark contrast to most Star Wars games that had been released up to that point which are fairly simple and easy to jump into and enjoy and do the things you would expect from the Star Wars Universe. After limited success in trying to work with the initial game, the development team basically decided to rework the entire structure of gameplay. When SOE first implemented the CU (Combat Upgrade) and the NGE (New Game Enhancements) there was a mass exodus of disgruntle players. And yet there were many other players who decided to ride it out and see what would become of their beloved game. Now a few years later after several new chapters and expansions SOE has done a lot to capture the spirit of adventure found in the Star Wars universe. SWG has always been a work in progress. Hopefully that means it will continue to grow in content and get better with age.
Over the last couple of months I have turned back to playing SWG again. I admit that even though I didn't find the changes to the game agreeable at first I think that SOE did what was necessary to provide a game that would be long lasting and entertaining for everyone and yet stay true to the spirit of Star Wars gaming. I've always kept my characters current anticipating the day would come and the time would be right to once again roam the galaxy on many brave new adventures.
Moving forward I would like to reinvent ICJ as a SWG player association that includes all professions of the Star Wars universe. For more on the upcoming changes please drop by the ICJ Pubic Forum where we will discuss where we go from here. I've always been convinced that ICJ's greatest times are yet to come.

After much deliberation, and effort, the Star Wars Galaxies front of the Inner Circle seems to finally be taking off.
We would like to take this time to welcome (though she's been here for a short time already) Xaundra to the Inner Circle. She has been working tirelessly in the SWG community, and is currently working to set up a Guild that will be associated with the Inner Circle, in the Eclipse Server.
Once more information becomes available, It will be given to the general Public. :) Stay tuned, because exciting things are happening!
You dont want to miss June the 4th at the Capri Drive-In at Coldwater Michigan, USA we will be viewing the Star Wars movie Revenge of the Sith.

Ok, just because you don't think you can make these events does NOT make you exempt of the fun. I am requesting that you bring your camera and get pictures of you at the theatre when you go see the show. Then kindly email them to me so I can post them in our members area. We may not be physically together that day but we will be in spirit or...um...the force. =D

Being a council member, this call goes out to anyone not affiliated with ICJ at current times. :)
ICJ is currently on the brink of greatness. If you are interested, please, fill out a Membership Petition for membership into the Inner Circle. It's quick, easy, and it takes no more than 5 minutes. Once you fill it out, you will be considered for membership! Just say that Luke recommended you. :)
By now, you may be asking, what's in it for me? Well, the ability to make new friends, be part of something special, and a way to change from the mondane to the super-fun is whats in it for you! So apply today! :)
If you have any questions, please refer to one of the council members, or make a post on our Forums. :-p
If freaky things are going on with the website, it's because I'm testing a new host. http://www.virtualave.net has served us well over the years. But http://www.1and1.com has an offer I just can't ignore.
For all our RSS webblog readers please adjust your Newsfeeds accordingly.
For more info about the switch check out our Public Forum

Hey, I finished our Newspro upgrade. Now it is easyer to make posts and we have an added RSS. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for syndicating news. It's a simple code generated by our newsprogram which can be read by a newsreader. Any of us can have a news reader that reads news headlines from our favorite news sources.
For more info about RSS check out http://www.rssreader.com/ which is where I got my reader. There are several other places you can check too.
Now if Luke makes a news post on our site I can know within an hour instead of finding out a week later when I finally click on our news page.
